The Department of Care and Social Services is responsible for elderly care in Stenungsund Municipality. The municipal primary care provided is regulated by law, primarily by the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). With a focus on people, interventions are carried out through assistance to individuals with various needs for help and support in their daily lives. All instances made for the individual in the chain contribute to qualitative and safe care and support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities consist of standard tasks within physiotherapy and assistive device assessment aimed at extending the period of active and independent living through training of the care recipient. You will work closely with occupational therapists, nurses, and care staff, and the assignment includes guidance for the care recipient, care staff, and relatives in a rehabilitative approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must be a licensed physiotherapist and able to meet and coordinate the patient's overall rehabilitation needs.

As the position involves daily contact with many people, high social competence is required, along with a service-oriented attitude and good interpersonal skills. It is important that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have computer skills.

You enjoy working flexibly and independently and can take your own initiatives while seeing teamwork as an important part of the job. The ability to independently organize and prioritize your work is fundamental to making the right interventions at the right time. It is important that you have a genuine interest in working with care recipients in need of rehabilitation within municipal health and medical care.

We place great emphasis on good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and personal suitability.

A driving license (B) is required as we often travel by car.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record and valid license as a physiotherapist must be presented.
